Brian has published over 30 works of fiction, poetry,
and creative journalism in the United States and Canada, including
the literary journals FICTION, May Day Magazine, Aethlon, upstreet, New Plains Review, rkvry Quarterly, Reed Magazine, and REAL: Regarding Arts & Letters.
His short story collection Between the Mile Markers
was semi-finalist of the Black Lawrence Press Hudson Prize
and the Press 53 Award for Short Fiction.
His current creative interests include 10-minute plays,
magic realism, and a novel.
